Misha first entered the food and beverage industry as an apprentice wine steward in 2015. With over five years of experience as a restaurateur, Misha spearheaded the reopening of Boston’s beloved social enterprise, Haley House Bakery Cafe in 2019.
In response to the debilitating effects of COVID on Boston’s BIPOC businesses, Misha founded The Opia Group and launched Roxbury Restaurant Week. Working intentionally through this platform, she pours her passion into creating synergistic bonds between community and corporate stakeholders. In doing so the Opia Group is able to curate brand activation for small businesses, fully engage community and foster dynamic partners with local and regional thought leaders.
