Founded in 2024 by two lifelong K-food obsessives, Gangnam Spice was born out of a simple mission: bring the bold, street-market flavors of Seoul to Boston's food-truck scene. After years of perfecting our double-fried chicken technique and obsessing over gochujang marinades, we hit the streets of Quincy Street to share our passion for real Korean Fried Chicken.
Gangnam Spice is a result of over a decade of Jiyeon's commitment to perfecting her unique recipe in Korean food and feedback from her numerous American friends. In 2023, Jiyeon launched Gangnam Spice out of her home kitchen. Today, driven by the company motto, “Experience Gangnam with every bite,” Jiyeon strives to give American customers the magical experience of transporting them to the Gangnam District through the taste of food that she cooks with a commitment to authenticity and the highest quality.
