Vishal Thapar and Rohini Sen know chai. Combined, the couple estimates they have made about 500,000 cups of the spiced tea in their lives. However, after emigrating from India, Thapar and Sen noticed the lack of what they considered high-quality chai in the United States. They took matters into their own hands and in 2015 launched Boston Chai Party, selling chai concentrate made from authentic Indian spices.
