Joubin Hatamzadeh brings more than 20 years of operational leadership across climate, technology, and innovation-driven organizations to his role as Chief Operating Officer at CommonWealth Kitchen. Most recently, Joubin served as COO of Greentown Labs, the world’s largest climate tech incubator, where he led multi-site operations in Boston and Houston, built high-performing teams, and supported hundreds of startups as they grew and scaled. He played a key role in the organization’s national expansion, leading the launch of its Houston campus and scaling operations across both locations.
Previously, Joubin spent nearly a decade at French Tech Hub, building and leading its Operations and Advisory practice to help more than 100 European technology and life sciences companies establish and grow their presence in the US market.
At CommonWealth Kitchen, Joubin is excited to bring his experience in scaling mission-driven organizations to a community where food entrepreneurship, economic opportunity, and climate impact come together. He is particularly drawn to the organization’s role in strengthening local food systems, supporting diverse food businesses, and reducing waste.
Joubin also serves as a board advisor to London GreenCity, a UK-based climate-focused organization. He holds a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from McGill University and lives in Arlington, Massachusetts.
