Sherina returns to CommonWealth Kitchen, where she was previously a valued member of the Programs team, bringing deep expertise and a longstanding passion for supporting entrepreneurs. An educator, coach, and dedicated advocate for founders, she has a talent for understanding what entrepreneurs
need to move their businesses forward and connecting them with the guidance and resources to make it happen.
Most recently, Sherina served as Co-CEO of Uptima Entrepreneur Cooperative, championing Black and Brown entrepreneurs across the country. Her experience also includes serving on the Board of Directors of Dorchester Bay EDC, reviewing small business loans for LEAF and RUNWAY’s Friends & Family Loan Program, and coaching Black women entrepreneurs at Babson College. She holds a B.A. in Public Relations/Marketing Communications and Managerial Finance from Simmons College. Throughout her work, Sherina has helped entrepreneurs build sustainable businesses, create local jobs, access capital, and strengthen their communities.
Sherina is excited to return to CWK and work alongside our members to strengthen that experience and help more food businesses grow and thrive.
