Summer has officially arrived in Boston, and the city is buzzing with energy, culture, and community. From Juneteenth celebrations to international soccer to the waterfront coming alive with tall ships, this is shaping up to be one of the most electric summers the city has seen in years. And at the center of it all? Our members.
Whether you’re a longtime CWK supporter or someone who’s been orbiting the community and looking for a reason to join in – this is your season. Here’s a list of some of the events on our radar and how we’re showing up.
⚽ FIFA World Cup 2026 – Boston is a host city, and with millions of visitors moving through, it’s a massive opportunity for small food businesses to capture new customers and build international visibility. Everybody Gotta Eat, Extreme Flavors, Magic Empanadas – all have been on the scene of watch parties.
📚 Ujima’s Penny University and Fresh Food Generation | June 25 – A living room conversation with the depth of a lecture and the warmth of a cookout, where ideas flow and connections form.
🎉 A Taste Of Ethnic Boston | July – Madhrasi Chai, Boston Cookie Kitchen, and Breez Gourmet will be under one roof for a celebration of culture, connection, and good food.
🌿 SoWa Open Market | All Summer – Epiphany Kuisine, Galley Provisions, Big Little Pies, and The Real Chai all make appearances at this open-air celebration of local makers in the South End.
✊🏾 Juneteenth – Boston Cookie Kitchen, Artees, Better Bodies, and House of Seven Cafe were present for one of the most important cultural moments of the year across the city.
We’re looking forward to the Puerto Rican Festival, Caribbean Jerk Fest, Little Saigon, Sail Boston & MA250 – Just to name a few. It’s gonna be a full summer of cultural celebrations across the city where our community will be present, visible, and thriving.

🤝 How We Show Up More – Together
Here’s are some ways you can help support (and be a part of the CWK community)
- Share the calendar. Every time you see a CWK member or partner appearing at an event, share on social media and tell your people.
- Squad up. Make it a group outing. When 10 of us walk into a festival or show up at SoWa together, we change the energy of the space.
- Spend intentionally. When you’re at any of these festivals, seek out our members. Ask vendors if they’re connected to CWK. Make the network feel real.
- Document everything. Photos, reels, reviews – content is currency. Help our members win the algorithm by flooding their mentions all summer long.
- Bring someone in. Every event is a recruitment opportunity. If you’re having a great time with a friend and they ask “what is CWK?” – that’s your moment to share what we’re about.
Summer in Boston belongs to the culture. See you out there.
