As Michelene Desormeau was born and raised in Haiti, she knows what the real authentic Haitian Cuisine tastes and looks like! That is the reason why Breez Gourmet Catering uses all fresh, natural, and organic ingredients: to provide the community with the same experience.


Dissatisfied with the limited options and lackluster experiences offered by existing Haitian restaurants and caterers in the area, Michelene embarked on a journey to create a home cooking business that would deliver delicious, popular, and genuine Haitian dishes, infused with her own touch of love and culinary expertise acquired from Culinary School

Growing up in Haiti in a middle-class family, Michelene was fortunate enough to have a farm where they could grow their own organic food; fruits and vegetables were always fresh! Her parents taught her the importance of sharing and giving back to the community and she is instilling the same values in her children.


Once a month, Breez Gourmet Catering serves the community by offering nutritious dinner to the homeless and other underserved populations, directly or through nonprofit organizations. We have served Bread and Roses, House of Hope, Lazarus House and Day Break in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
