Undeniably Soul Food Unrecognizably Better for You
Emerging from a rich heritage of rhythm and flavor, Epiphany Kuisine began at the tender age of six in a Black/Cape Verdean American kitchen. As a young girl, Owner Kasey Jenkins was captivated by how our cultures express love through food—a harmonious blend of seasonings that transforms any meal into a joyous family reunion filled with music and dancing. Despite a diverse culinary career ranging from European fine dining to executive management, she struggled with lifelong weight issues exacerbated by her professional environment. This led to a pivotal epiphany: she was perfecting the very dishes contributing to the health crises within her community and her own body. Driven by a desire to help others, Kasey studied nutrition and developed Green Kuisine, a collection of soul food favorites reimagined through a wellness-focused lens. However, she soon faced the challenge of overcoming the "healthy" label, which often carried a stigma that deterred loved ones from trying her creations. After decades of service, she turned her vision into reality by founding Epiphany Kuisine, a legacy-driven brand that combines a Business Administration degree with a passion for community healing. Her mission is to bridge the gap between wellness and tradition, offering nourishing soul food that prioritizes comfort and nostalgia without compromise.
