Founded by Dr. Eru K.-Nyombi, Erudite Farms is the latest evolution of a career dedicated to sustainability. With a PhD in chemical engineering and over seven years spent developing battery storage for the renewable energy sector, Dr. K.-Nyombi turned his technical expertise toward a new frontier and a circular economy that captures the inherent energy of food waste. He quickly realized that composting delivers double the impact by dually providing biogas for clean energy and also producing nutrient-rich soil that eliminates the need for synthetic fertilizers. Today, Erudite Farms closes the loop by using our own premium compost to grow algae superfoods, microgreens, and medicinal herbs.
