Pavana is a Food Science professional with 6 years of hands-on experience across academia, research, and industry. She holds a Master’s degree in Food Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology from Osmania University, India.
Driven by a passion for supporting farmers, she has focused her career on food product development, quality assurance, and food safety. My work has involved improving the quality and safety of fresh produce in post-harvest environments, particularly for small and medium-scale farmers and food processing units.
She is committed to educating and supporting farmers and processors in implementing practical, science-based solutions for product development and food safety. At CWK, she is proud to contribute to purpose-driven work that makes a meaningful impact.
In addition to her professional role, she volunteers with farmers who lack formal technical training, helping them navigate the challenges of marketing their produce. She also enjoys collecting fruit stickers featuring unique designs and cartoons.
