Caked was formed in part due to my love of the cupcake world and my desire to create fun twists on non-traditional cupcake flavors. After finishing graduate school at Harvard in 2016, I worked to establish a small bakery to supplement my income from my sports media Internship. In April 2017, Caked was officially launched with an initial focus on pop-ups at area breweries and distilleries. In 2018 Caked got its biggest break and was selected as a vendor at Boston Calling. Over the next four years, the bakery was featured in local media publications garnering increased Interest In the bakery. In August 2022, Caked participated in the retail incubator The Current at the Seaport. My goal is to open a storefront in 2024.
