Our Story

In the past 10 years, we have grown from a mobile food truck, home delivery, and catering company to a destination location in Dorchester. We have a strong local network of friends, families and supporters that range from Boston proper to the Western part of the state. We love community. It is and has always been the reason why we do what we do.

Fresh Food Generation Products

Jerk Chicken

Whether you’ve grown up eating jerk chicken or had the opportunity to taste this popular street food in Jamaica, we’ve created a jerk sauce that you’ll love. We flame-grill our chicken with the traditional blend of jerk spices, local habanero peppers and scallions.

Local Salmon

One pound of salmon roasted with garlic, parsley, and lemon juice. Red's Best prides itself on supporting local fishermen and high quality seafood for their customers.

Curried Lamb

Made with fresh mint, cilantro, local peppers and light curry. Inspired by the unofficial national dish of Laos, Chef Siedric has put his own spin on this classic dish. Great served warm or cold.

Fresh Food Generation named one of the tastiest food trucks in Boston in the Boston Magazine

This food truck and catering company’s mission is just as fresh as its flavorful Caribbean-American cuisine: to bring nutrient-rich local foods to communities in every corner of Boston (and serve it all on compostable plates). Besides its admirable intentions, though, Fresh Food Generation also puts out stellar rice and salad plates. Case in point: scratch-made jerk chicken that’s an alchemy of spices and rich brown sugar, all rounded out by a hint of cinnamon. Other stars of the dairy-, gluten-, nut-, and soy-free menu include the vegan red bean stew that overflows with slow-simmered flavor and the side dish of sweet plantain with perfectly caramelized edges. You can often find the truck at the Longwood Medical area dishing out daily specials, and with a little luck, the delights du jour might feature their fantastic fried Brussels sprouts.
